I have a routine down for when I get the kids their breakfast. I give Ethan 2 meds. One is for reflux and the other is for his constipation (Miralax). Ashleigh is to get 1 med. Noah gets 1 med, too.
So, Thursday I gave Ashleigh her med first. I have to ask Ethan a few questions (did you poop? Was it hard?) to see if he needs his Miralax. Yesterday and today Ethan did not get his Miralax. Noah got his med.
Ashleigh gave her cereal and milk. 10 minutes later, I went back over to Ashleigh and I couldn't believe my eyes. Her eyes were going back and forth real fast.
I called our eye doctor, who wanted to see Ashleigh. The eye doctor told us that behind her eyes were fine, but he thinks it is a drug reaction causing the involuntary rapid eye movement. It was really bad when I found her eyes doing this. Last night not as fast, but still going. Today her eyes are still going back and forth but at a snail pace.
The eye doctor told me to call the physician who prescribed this medication and tell her what is going on. I spoke with her Thursday night and I am to decrease the amount to 1 pill instead of 2, but I am waiting to see if this leaves her. Then, I will talk to Shawn if we should continue or not.
Ashleigh is still having some involuntary eye movements, but nothing like Thursday. I have no given her any of this medication yet.
Tomorrow Ashleigh sees her rehab doctor to talk about her left side weakness and her having problems walking.
