Day 28: (Nov 28)
We are grateful for our town's Christmas parade and spending the time as a family. Earlier in the day I took the boys to a few activities in different locations in our downtown- the library, our Y, the plaza where summer concerts are, and the Fire department. Our boys' photo was taken for a local Facebook page. They were so excited to see that.
We came home to have our Thanksgiving dinner with Shawn since he worked the day of Thanksgiving. After dinner, we cleaned up and ended downtown for the parade. We got there early so we could get a good spot. We sat at a different spot this year since we wanted Ashleigh closer than she normally is. We had her in her wheelchair because we had to park a ways off. We also wanted to be on a cement sidewalk without any grass, leaves, etc. We did not bring our chairs. We were also closer to where we parked. It was a great parade. One part touched everyone's hearts.
