Yes, it has been a while. Life got too crazy.
Update:
Ashleigh is 19, senior (first year, in school until 21) and is in a life skills room. Ashleigh has had some important doctor appointments in the last year. She had more bloodwork done along with her dad and I. Ash has SPG4, the gene for Hereditary Spastic Paraparesis. It is only her that has this. Not me or Shawn. Not her brothers. She also has autism. Noah is 15 (almost 16) and is in tenth grade. Ethan is 11 and is in fifth grade. Our days were busy with school, appointments, and Ashleigh's horseback riding until last week. My pain level has been too much for most days.
Chaos as I call it happened as everyone in the world knows. The one thing that helps me is knowing we are not alone in this.

The kids' last day of school was last Thursday, March 12. Friday was a day off planned. That weekend was to be the 8th-grade trip somewhere. That Thursday the kids brought home every book. We were in this limbo from March 16-20 until the school district decided how to do everything since not everyone has access to the internet. March 23-24, our kids had to do some educational activities online. Online learning or homeschooling began on March 25. Ashleigh's schooling has not started until Monday, March 30. We received a packet from her teacher by one of the district police officers. Noah received everything through Google classroom. His English teacher uses it daily for all assignments. For Ethan, we have to go to a link where we find his assignments. I print them out. We brought more paper and ink just in case we had to print anything. I am grateful that we brought a new printer earlier in the year.
We are in PA and we are in a county with Stay at Home (or shelter in place) orders in place. We can only leave the house for food or to see a doctor. We are doing good except for the boredom. We were doing well in the beginning. Cleaning the house. Working on some projects. I reorganized the basement so the kids could use the ping pong table and the air hockey table. I have been painting more, too.
Be safe everyone!
