We did not get that tv stand from Part 1 since we thought a dresser maybe the way to go. She could hide items in the 6 drawer dresser. It fit perfectly in that area & her tv is lower now. I found this dresser & 2 nightstands all for $45. A lady on Facebook Marketplace was selling items for her grandfather. Ashleigh has one of the nightstands & Noah has the other one.
Ashleigh wants a desk from Ikea. This one is the one she wants: Click Here. Now the space where this desk will go is not as long as it was before she got the nightstand. We need to measure that area, but I am sure this will fit there. I was thinking we could have another desk to give it an L-shaped. I saw it somewhere on Facebook. Not sure where. Not sure if we will. We plan to get the desk sometime at the beginning of next month. Our Ikea is over an hour away & we can not make the trip anytime soon.
Ashleigh has gotten rid of a box of books & some clothes. We also have a planner for Ashleigh to start using real soon. Each week I used washi tape down the page on the left to give her space for what she wants to add along with what I added. The reminder is for her medicines. Ash can color the star when she takes them in the AM & PM. I found stickers online to print out. I cut them out and use a glue stick to get them to stick. I have brought some stickers, too, for Ashleigh.
I will post photos of Ashleigh's room once we get it completely done.
