My Older 2's Artwork

What do you do with all your kids' artwork?  Keep it?  Throw some out?  Store it away?

I have all of the artwork of Ashleigh & Noah saved from preschool to present.  Now I did not save EVERYTHING!!  I threw out art that was made with food or was too bulky.  I have more of Ashleigh's than Noah's.  Ash will be in 6th grade & Noah will be in 2nd grade in the fall.  I have their art saved in Memory Keepers.  I brought these Memory Keepers from Michael's.  I went to their site looking for a picture, but they did not have anything like I have so I will have to take a picture & get it on here soon.  I got them in the scrapbook area.  I have blue for Noah & pink for Ashleigh.

I had all of these frames that did not match so I painted them all black with craft paint.  I love how a simple thing like craft black can change a look.  Now they all match.  I really want to do this in my hallway, too, but with 8x11 frames.  I need to get to yard sales this summer looking for frames.  I have a goal to clean up my hallway.  It is the spot where everything is placed.  I am sure you have a place where things end up in.  If I reorganize & throw out things, then I can get more artwork into frames.  =)

New photos coming

The picture below is the wall in our dining room.

Top picture next to the window- Ash's drawing.
The one below it- Noah's (Close up soon).

Sorry about the light in the picture.  It is from the dining room light.  Noah drew3 penguins going up a hill & one coming down the hill on its stomach.

Close up of Noah's
Penguin of course.
It says "My constellation looks like a penguin."

The other wall is on the other side of Noah's & the blank frame, but in the living room.  This is above the tv.
The left one is Ashleigh's & the other one is another blank.  I am saving those for this coming school year.

I have other great pieces, but I need bigger frames to put them into.  I love that I just took  my kids' art that they did & framed it.  They feel good.  I feel proud.  They did great!

Thanks for looking,
Melissa
