Ten years later

I can not believe it has been 10 years since our country lost so many lives.  Everything changed that day.  

I never had the opportunity to see the Twin Towers.  Only saw pictures.  They were landmarks to New York & our country.  

We need to always remember this day.  I don't think any of us can forget. 

Where were you ten years ago today?

 I was home that morning sleeping.  My neighbor (she has moved) woke me up by calling me.  My daughter was sleeping, too.  She was 15 months back then.  My mom was worried I was at the college I was attending.  It has tall buildings.  She was worried that there could be more attacks.  We are in PA.  In the Pittsburgh area.  9-11-01 was a Tuesday & I did not have classes on Tuesday that semester.  

I can barely remember what I did last week, but I remember a lot of details about that day 10 years ago.  

God bless those who lost their lives, to the ones they left behind, to our military for protecting us.
