A quick note here:
School is out here on June 6. Days away! Ashleigh's birthday is June 4. We always have her birthday a few days before school is out. It is hard to believe the school year is almost over & Ashleigh is almost 12. We just started this school year in another school district in a different town. At that time we did not know we were going to move. We thought we would be there at the end of the school year, but other things happened!
By the end of the first month of school, we had to decide to move or not. We decided to move. In November, when Ashleigh came home with gas on her (long story-there is a post about this), we decided to move up our move since my mother in law moved up her move. We moved into her home since she moved down South! We wanted to keep our kids safe from the kid that pour gas on Ash. This kid along with her mother & other child was harassing me, Noah, & Ash. It was the best decision we made. For these reasons:
1. The kids are not around them anymore.
2. Ashleigh made friends before moving to her new school.
3. Noah made friends & will continue at this school until 6th grade.
4. They both had the opportunity to meet the principal that is retiring after this year.
5. Noah met friends at school that also played with the new soccer association!
We were to move next week! Weird how these things work out! We are already moved in. Majority of boxes are unpacked. All rooms set up! Just think we would have to do that all. Plus the kids starting new schools in the fall & a new soccer association. We don't have to worry about any of that. Well, except for a new school for Ashleigh. She is nervous, but she knows 5 kids!
