How did you discover your favorite Author?

I need to post about something happy today.  I will update about Ashleigh & the boys later tonight or tomorrow.  It was a bad couple days.

How did you discover your favorite author? 

My favorite author is Susan Mallery.  I discovered her through one of my libraries' e-books sites.  I was looking for a e-book to read & I saw one of her books.  I read the description.  Back then, I had my Nook.  I put it on my Nook & I was glued to it.  The first book I read of Susan Mallery was Under Her Skin.  It is from the Lone Star Sister Series.  I fell in love with Susan Mallery's writing & this series.  I read all 4 of the books below.

Then, discovered Susan's Fool's Gold series.  This is my favorite series.  It is the best!!  It has 13 books in it, but the last 3 is not out until next summer.  May, June, & July to be exact!  There is time to catch up!  ;)  I love it because it is set in a town called Fool's Gold, CA where everyone in the town helps one other.  Each book we learn about the characters.  Then, we learn about new characters & we learn about the previous characters.  I love this series.  I think I said that.  I wish this town was real because I would move there.    I was a 2012 Fool's Gold Cheerleader for Susan Mallery.  I had so much fun cheering for her & talking about these books.  I have a blog just about the Fool's Gold books: Click HERE.  

Summer Days, Summer Nights, & All Summer Long came out last summer.  This coming summer the 3 new ones are Just One Kiss, Two of a Kind, & Three Little Words, which I can not wait to read.  I will be pre-ordering them.  Will you?

I have read more than these 2 series by Susan Mallery.  I love the Bakery Sisters, Buchanans, Los Lobos, & Blackberry Island Series.  It is another great series to read.  Accidently Yours, Full Time Father, One in a Million, & There's Always a Plan B.  Right now I am reading Already Home about Jenna, who is divorce, she returns home, & opens a store.

How did you discover your favorite author? I would love to know.  I may read them, too!  I am always looking for new authors to read.
