I started reading this book on ADHD
called "1,000 Best Tips for ADHD: Expert Answers and Bright Advice to
Help You and Your Child" by Susan Ashley PhD.
I am about 300 tips into this book,
but it said to use points/tokens to get your child to do certain behaviors. I had this systems for the older 2 back in 2010. We are going back to our Behavior/Chore Chart that uses
the points and token system. I did find this, but it took awhile. I
have a habit of emailing files to myself and this is how I found it. If
it was not for me emailing myself, I would not have this file. Yea Me!!
It was on my old laptop that died!! The way I have this system set up to earn both Tokens and Points. Points the kids used towards their allowance. Tokens are for special privileges.
Here is the Privilege Level Chart I use:
I got this off of a website, but I am not sure where. If you see something like this, please let me know so I can link this back to that website. I made all of this in Word back in 2009. I updated it whenever I needed it to. To earn Token, they have to have so many points. Each level is worth so many Tokens.
Old Version of Behavior Chart:
I had both Tokens and Points on this same chart, but I decided to redo it.

New Version of Behavior Chart based on Points:
I made this one in Excel. It took me awhile to figure out how to get a table. I can not figure out how to get rid of Column 2, etc. I forgot to put Noah's name at Column 1. I have not do a chart for the tokens. They get Tokens based on the Privilege Level Chart. I will make a Token chart soon. Both Ashleigh and Noah's are about the same except for 1 or 2. For Ethan's, I based it on what I need for him. I wanted to do a Behavior Chart that is longer than 1 week. I could not get 4 weeks on the same piece of paper.
Beside this chart, we have House Rules. I have one for each child. I need to update Ethan's. This spells it out what I need from them daily. I read this in the book I listed above about kids with ADHD need a written to do list.
