I have wanted to write this blog post for days, but I wanted to get my emotions in check. Boy, last week went to hell. I know we are very lucky, but I keep thinking the what ifs. Let me go back a step. Shawn was in a car accident. He is fine and it was not his fault. But, our van is not. We got word today that our van is totaled!!! Nice! We will get a call tomorrow or the next day to tell us what the amount is. All because someone was not paying attention to their driving. We will not be able to get our second vehicle due to this now.
Remember when I said above last week went to hell!! The van was not the only thing that happened. Noah was sick all week. He was so pale. We took him to the doctors and we were not allow to send him to school until yesterday.
Our furnace went. I had the furnace guy come in and look at it as soon as we realized the furnace wasn't working. It turned out the condensation inside the furnace was not leaving, which made the furnace stop working. Our furnace guy took the water out of it and got it running, but that night we lost the furnace again. We had him come back the next day and he fixed it. But, we had our pipes freeze. It was a mess when a pipe burst. We had someone else come to replace the burst pipe. Now we have an electric heater in this room to make sure this does not happen again.
