Have I told you all that I hate construction noises? I think I wrote about the city redoing the water pipes. Good thing, but the inconvenience is bad. They started digging the week of New Years. Yep that long ago. They were at it for 5-6 weeks I think. Then, stopped. They came back to dig and cover up holes every so many feet. They were square shaped. Now they are back to pave everything. They started yesterday. We were told they would be done in 2 days. I hope so.
We are grateful we have parking in the back of yard. We have a house on a hill. Yep, it is a bad climb from the bottom, but it is good exercise. Our yard is 2 levels. The top level is where the front porch is. The sides of the house has a small area on the left and right of the house. We have stone steps going down into the middle part of the yard. Then, we walk this hilly area to get to the lower area above the parking. From the bottom, you can see the 4 floor house (including the basement).
I need to leave soon! Have an errand to run. Off to the back parking area!!
