Why I have been missing

I have been missing for the last week and did not post anything about what we were up to.  We went on vacation to surprise my mother in law.  She lives in South Carolina near the ocean.

We left last Friday, June 17.  We got there a little before 10p and surprised my mother in law.  Boy, she was!!  lol.  We stopped to get gas, restroom breaks, and dinner.  We got home about 7p on Wednesday, June 22.

On the way there I used this (photos below) to help the "Are we there yet?" down to a few.  Noah took these 3 photos.  The first one is not in focus on the right side.  I had issues getting it to stick there with the tape I used.  I am saving this for the next trip down next summer, but with different tape.  We could not put it anywhere else in our van.  I put it in the middle where we have storage.  I will share the link once I find it where I got this great idea!!  I got the states from Crayola, I think.  They are coloring pages, but I decreased the size a lot.

We had a lot of fun!!  The kids all got along.  No fighting.  The kids loved being around their grandmothers, grandfather, aunt, and uncle.  My parents came up from Florida to see us for a couple days.

Now we are home and dealing with the unpacking.  The laundry!!  I have all of the suitcases unpacked.  The laundry all sorted and the last load is in the washer.  Not bad for starting late this morning.
