I saw a dietitian because of my low blood sugar dropping more frequently. I need to eat 6 small meals a day. The one issue I have is not eating enough protein since I have to be gluten free. Each time I have a carbohydrate it has to be with a protein. I was told that my hypoglycemia is a precursor for diabetes. I have to do this. I knew before this appointment I needed to add more protein to not just my diet, but Ethan's, too. Besides adding more protein to my diet, I also have to watch my sugar intake. I have to check labels to see what the sugar is. If it is more than 9 grams of sugar per servings, then I can not have it. I need to get to my meal planning. I plan from pay Friday to the Thursday before the next pay Friday.
Ethan sees his dietitian later this month. With Ethan, I need new ideas for lunches and dinners for him. I am hoping I get ideas for proteins for him, too.
