Noah and girlfriend? That has been the question of the month. Last week Noah and I talked about dating. We decided to wait for dating until he is 16. At 16, Noah and I will talk again, but this time defining what dating is and setting up rules.
Let me go back a step. Noah came home last week to tell us that another girl asked him out. After the first one, Noah and I talked. I told him to tell said girl that he can't date until he is 16. I think Noah was getting frustrated with all of these girls asking him and staring at him.
Then came another girl. Let's call her A. Noah came home this week and asked if he could have a girlfriend, but not go out on dates. His face lights up when you say her name. Noah asked if he could have a girlfriend. I said yes, but no dating.
I have to admit that I am a little nervous about Noah and dating, but I am more nervous about Noah and driving.
