The furniture came Tuesday. Well, let’s go back a step. Monday night Shawn and Noah took apart our bed. The mattress and box spring sat on the floor. It wasn’t bad for only being one night.
The guys delivered the furniture. Sectional first. It went into the living room through the big window! We have to rearrange the living room, but we love the new sectional. This rearranging will happen when Shawn is off next week.
Then our bed was put together. Love it!! The media chest had some issues going into our bedroom. The angle, stair case bottom, the spindles of the stair case was making it difficult. The guys did get it in. The fireplace insert was out in. The dresser was brought up. Then, the night stand.
In almost 22 years of marriage, this is our first time ever having a bedroom set that matches each other. We love our new bedroom. The bed is so much more comfortable than the old one.
The basement is coming along. I have a box of stuff that will go to Goodwill. I think that will be at least 3 boxes by the time I am done. When Shawn is off next week, I am hoping everything for Goodwill will be ready for Shawn and Noah to put it into the car.
I still have items to get rid of in our room, but haven’t had the time since soccer for Noah started Wednesday. This weekend I will get it all done. I want to get rid of anything we don’t use.
