I got 4 of these boards and a bookcase from a friend, who was getting rid of them. I knew I could repurpose them. It was a bed. This was the headboard.

This is after I stained it. I have not made the stencils yet with my Cricut maker. I think I may have to wait until the weather is better so I can use the protective coat spray that I use.
I think I will do stencils for Welcome on one side & the other side will be Home Sweet Home. I think a dog paw for the O in Welcome.
