Our district has been voluntarily closing every Friday this month. When we do this, our numbers in each school go back to zero. With our community spread in our county is much lower than it was, our school district is changing things up again. This is not a surprise and I am okay with this change. K-6 will be back to 5 days a week starting February 24. 7-12th grades are 4 days a week with Friday closing (virtual learning) and no more cohorts!! That is the best part! No more cohorts and oh, Ethan is back 5 days a week! Yea!!
Ashleigh was not happy about her week being quarantined, but she handled it very well. She came out of quarantined Sunday, February 13. Of course, Ash was so excited to be back at school on Monday, but we had a traditional snow day on Monday & Tuesday. Ash did not have to be tested or did she have any symptoms.
Maybe by the end of next week, we will have some kind of normal. Whatever normal is nowadays!!
