It seems like I have been gone for a while. I have several blog entries/posts saved, but need to download the pictures & get them cropped, etc, for here. It has been CRAZY lately. I am sure you all know what I mean.
Ashleigh started her in house therapy. I am not sure how it is going yet. We are just finishing up week 2. It is a lot to handle. 15 hours a week. Add in appointments. My older 2 kids. We met all 3 therapists. I like them all. I think. Not to sure on the one yet, but I am not worried.
I can remember when Ash was little. I had therapists in our home. She was in the Birth to 3 program where she received PT, OT, & speech. Plus add in I have not been feeling too great.

Lately with Noah, I can not do anything right. Noah is mad that Ash is getting all the attention. He is not. I think it is more than just that. I think it has to do with Ashleigh's behavior lately. Noah hates it when Ash misbehaves. Sometimes he is affected directly with her bad behavior. Like her stealing items & putting them in her room. We are all working on correctly her bad behavior. 2 nights ago, I made Noah's night. He lost his dsi xl. Loves that thing. I won an Ebay auction to get him another one. It should be here in 6 days or less. Noah was so happy. I screamed when I won it. The last 6 (not sure if it was 6, but close to that) I have lost, but this one I was a lion watching her prey. I did not blink!
Noah loves his sister. Not the bad behavior. I think siblings that has a sister or brother with special needs learn to treat others better. They would not tease someone like Ashleigh. They would make an effort to talk to them, to make friends with them, or to make them laugh. My sons know to look after Ashleigh. Knowing this warms my heart. Noah lets me know when she is hitting her head against something so we can stop this behavior.
I now make a point to listen to EVERYTHING that Noah says even if I don't want to. You know. It is about a game (video). I have a night a week for just me & Noah. I want to do the same with Ash, too. Ethan will get me all to himself once the older 2 are in school. Add this to our weekly movie night, our family meeting night (more on this later). This reminds me to update our chalkboard weekly schedule for next week.
It is hard to keep up with everything. All the therapy, the appointments, the house to keep clean. Damn, I am tired just thinking of it.
I love these 2 pics. They were taken at our Museum. We went to the one museum & the art one was connected to it. We did not know this. The boys seem to like this painting!

(I need to post them)
Once I get the pictures uploaded to the desktop, I can get the one post I am working on published.
Until next time,
Mel
