This afternoon Noah & I took Bolt to the vet. I really love our vet. If you do not remember, both of Bolt's testicles have not dropped. Here is the previous post: Click HERE. He is 7 months old now. Today we went in for a check up to see if they dropped. Do you think they did drop?
NO!!
Why couldn't one drop? Just one!! Just our luck! We love Bolt. We will do whatever we have is best for him. Noah loves his puppy. We do not want anything to happen to his puppy. Noah adores him. You should hear Bolt cry when Noah leaves the house without him. Wow! Today Noah went up to the street to get the recyclable can (it's a trash can) that is for the kitchen & Bolt whined at the door until Noah came in. They are always together unless Noah is in school or is in bed or Bolt is in his crate sleeping. We crate him at night.
I told her about the spay/neuter program I called about. I called 2 programs. The one was too far South of us. The other one is just perfect. I pay $65 to this organization than the veterinarian that does the surgery Bolt will have the an office appointment, which I pay the vet for this office visit. Then, I can schedule the surgery. Before I can have Bolt to the vet, I have to have his records faxed over to this vet!
Here are some photos of Bolt to show how big he has gotten:
(I played around with the photos)
The vet tech weighed him. He is now 41 lbs. It is hard to believe he used to be so small. I miss that small puppy.
Bolt was looking around the room while we waited for the vet!
I think Bolt remembers that the treats are up in this direction!!

Do you think so?
This spot Bolt was licking it. I could not get him to stop it. I do not want to know what he is smelling!!

I was really hoping they would drop, but we have a game plan. The only thing I don't like doing about his neutering is waiting until after Christmas. Money is tight right now for us. I need to wait until tax time. We have it for a regular neuter, but not this type of one. This is going to be between $400-500. A lot better than my vet wanted. The link about has my vet's estimate! I was told if they don't drop by the time he is 1 year then they won't. I have never been this late with a neutering before. I have always done it by 6 months. We had Bolt's schedule, but had to cancelled it.
I believe in spaying & neutering. I am determined to get him neutered. In January, I will get the money to this program. Make the appointment to the vet (office appointment) & get the records faxed to them. By late February or Early March, Bolt will be getting his surgery. This is when I will need advice how to keep him calm, etc & keep him away from Zeus (other husky). I am thinking of crating him. Bringing the crate up here. Less stairs for him to climb.
Off to bed!
Night!
