Our Trip to Another Zoo!!

My friend & I decided to take our kids to this zoo about 4 hours from our homes since this summer we really have not done anything.  We decided that since I have not driven more than an hour since my injury & back surgery we should get a hotel for 2 nights.  We wanted a few things at our hotel:

-pool

-WiFi

-Refrigerator!!

-Microwave

-Continental Breakfast

We arrived to our hotel Friday at about 3p.  We saw that the pool at no water in it!!  We asked if we could get out of our reservations.  My friend, Sandy, explained that the kids wanted to go swimming Friday & Saturday night.  I got my cell out & started searching.  We found another one. We got everything we wanted above!  The hotel was further from the zoo then the other one was, but we did not care since it had a pool with water in it.  The kids had a lot of fun swimming & they loved the zoo, but it was too big!  

We went to the Zoo on Saturday.  It was so hot out.  It was 86, but with the heat index it was 96-98 out.  It took us all day to go through the zoo.  The zoo closed at 7p & we were leaving after that.  

When we got into the zoo, this is the first Character we saw!!  They also had a Koala Bear, too! 

I changed lens for the wolf, but I was having issues with getting it in focus.  

This zoo had all kinds of things for photos like this!  

The boys loved the Sting Ray!  The shark is behind the Sting Ray!

On Sunday, we had breakfast.  Then, Sandy & I took everything done to the van & we packed up the van.  We got the van, checked out, & left.  We drove home 4 hours.  It was our first trip that we took without our husbands & we loved it.  It was nice to recharged.
