It has been over a month since I last posted. Noah started school a few Thursdays ago. He is so happy at his new school. He started at a private school. We got him a new backpack and lunch bag. I still need to find him some more uniform pants. The stores did not have his size. I have a total of 4 pairs for him.
Before school started, Shawn cleaned up Noah's room with him. I put up his dry erase calendar on his wall along with a small dry erase board. I brought a roll up cork board, but it did not stay on the wall so I am going to make it into a penguin cork board. I have 5 penguins already drawn and cut. I have a few more to draw and cut. I will be painting a chalkboard soon in Noah's room. We already picked out a space for it.
Before Ashleigh started school, Shawn and I cleaned up Ashleigh's room with her. Ashleigh and I mopped her floor. Shawn removed her bed since it broke. She is getting a new bed, which was ordered. Well, Ashleigh does not want a new bed, but a futon. Here is what she wants: CLICK HERE (but, in pink). If this does not work out, then we will move it down to the basement to the tv area. I will buy a cover for it & get Ashleigh a new bed. A new 9-cubicle bookcase was ordered with the futon, too, to help her with being organize better. We are going to paint her room purple. There will be a chalkboard, too, in her room.
Shawn put together Ethan's 9-cubicle bookcase that we brought him months ago. It replaced an older bookcase that we gave a friend of ours. Ethan's room was reorganized so his toys are in one area. It looks great.
We are re-organizing the entire house. Lots of changes going on, but it will take awhile. The basement will be the one that takes the longest. It had some flooding, but we dealt with that.
I have Noah's uniform pants in the dryer. I hope they are dried soon so I can read before bed.
Night all!
