Today is Ethan's 5th birthday. It is hard to believe that Ethan is now 5 years old. I can remember when we found out I was pregnant. It was June 4, 2008, which is Ashleigh's birthday. I kept saying "I can't be pregnant!" 2008 was a bad year for me, but once I found I was pregnant with Ethan, 2008 was looking a lot better. Ethan is such a joy to have in our lives.

Ethan did not want a cake, but cupcakes. He wanted chocolate and blue icing. These are gluten free.
Ethan was disappointed this morning since there was no school. He goes to preschool 3 mornings a week. I told him a story about when we were in the hospital after he was born. I took this photo 5 years ago tomorrow. It was from my hospital room. We were hit with a snowstorm and an ice storm. Ethan and I had no visitors that day because the roads were not safe to travel on. I loved that I had Ethan all to myself.
