Chores

I started doing chores differently here about 3 weeks ago.  I brought a corkboard from the Dollar Tree store.  I put that to the right of our front door.  It fits perfectly there.  I put post its there for the kids with 3-4 chores they need to do for the day.  They each have their own post its daily.  They know what chores they need to do.  When it is Pay Day Friday, they get so much money per chore.

I was tired of the kids saying they had no idea what they are to do.  Now it is written down and they know where they have to go.  The only thing I want to do is replace the Dollar Tree cork board for a thicker one.  The pins go though the board.

I have a post it for Shawn, too.  Just somethings around the house I need him to do.  He has already put the training wheels on Ethan's bike.  I brought Ethan a bike from one of the Goodwill store for $6.99.  It was so worth it.  A bike that was in almost perfect condition.  There is a small tear in the seat, but nothing else is wrong with it.  Ethan loves it.  The plug in the basement has been done, too.  A adapter for 3 plug broken inside the outlet.  I had Shawn remove the broken piece.
