Happy Celiac Disease Awareness Month!! (Part 3)

Part 2 is HERE.  At the end of Part 2, I was talking about Aldi's Special Buys. I think they should carry all the time.  Not just here or there.

Ethan is so picky with what he eats.  I stick with items I know he will eat.  At times, I will have him try something new, but I can not push Ethan into eating it if he does not want it.

Back in July, 2015, I did write them and I saved what I sent them for a few reasons.
1.  I could send them another email in the future and make sure I did not miss anything I wanted to say.
2. A list of the Specialty items Ethan and I love.
3. Just in case I want to write them again.

Last week Aldi's ad (5/4) had a lot of the Special Buys.   I did not stock up like I did the last time.  I did buy 2 chocolate cake mixes, 3 Raviolis, 3 Chocolate covered Pretzels, 3 Yogurt covered Pretzels, & 2 Cinnamon Strudel Muffins.

Here is what I sent them in an email last year:

I am writing to ask if the Live GFree products that were on the Special Buys should be sold on a permanent basis.  There are a lot of people that have to eat Gluten Free due to Celiac Disease like me or Gluten Intolerance like my 6 year old son, Ethan.  When Ethan eats gluten, he is not a happy kid.  He screams when his stomach hurts.  We have tried over 1 year being on Miralax, but his stomach was still the same.  Now living his life Gluten Free has been wonderful for him.  No more screaming that his stomach hurts.

It is so hard to find items that Ethan loves to eat, but these Special Buys he loves them.  The Banana Nut muffins, Yogurt covered Pretzels, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Cinnamon Strudel Muffins, Double Chocolate Chip Cookies, Sugar Cookies, Angel Food Cake, Bag of  Raviolis, and Chocolate Cake are all his favorites.  We also love the Pizza, Brownie, Chocolate Cookies, Yellow Cake.

Thank you for reading this.  I know I am not alone in this.  There are a lot of people who feel like I do.

Thanks
Melissa

I did received an email back, but it never did address what they don't carry them all the time.  I got a reply that just went around my question.  Maybe it is time to write them again.  My first sentence asks if the Special Buys for Live GFree product to be on a permanent basis.

What do you all think?  Time to get a lot of us in the Celiac Disease/Gluten Intolerance world write, too?!  Are you going to join me?
Melissa
