2 weeks to Christmas! 15 days to we move!
Are we all ready?
Mmm......
Yes & No!
I have to pick up the last item I got Ethan at Toys r us. It had to be 1 of the hot items this year for Christmas. I ordered it online. At KMart, they wanted this item for $10 more.
I have half of the items for the kids wrapped then I ran out of wrapping paper. Once Shawn moved the tree over to the new house, guess what I found? Yes, wrapping paper! I have the items to wrap at the new house. I will get over there to finish it. We need to put up the tree & decorate it.
I still need to get to Walmart to get items for the kids Christmas parties, which is Dec 21. I need chocolate chip, butter to make chocolate chip cake! I need to make their treat bags.
We need to work on the teacher's gifts. Not sure what this will be either yet besides the penguin. I need magnets so the penguin can go on the refrigerator.
I am doing pretty good on the packing. I am almost done in the kitchen. A few boxes to go in there. Ashleigh's room is done. I just have the boys' room & the laundry area. Bathroom won't take me long. I still have odds & ends on this computer desk. I will get that, too.
On other note, I wanted to remind those with asthma not to stop taking your medications even if you feel well. An asthma attack could be around the corner. Here is an article on asthma, children & winter. Check it out here. It has a list at the end of the article where you can go for help to pay for asthma medications, or copays. We were having problems for paying our copays for Noah & we got him the Chip program for insurance. There is no copay for him. If you can do that, I would say go for it. It has helped us out a lot. Asthma medications, ER visits are not cheap. So far, Noah has not had an ER visit since March. March was a very very bad time for Noah. 3 ER visits & 1 ambulance ride to the ER.
I hope everyone is ready for Christmas & their kids' Christmas parties!
Mel
