I can not believe how much I have packed in the last week. I have Ashleigh's closet done, but I could not had done this without Noah. We used his dump truck to take the boxes out to the dining room. We did not carry anything. The only items in her closet besides her clothes is our Christmas tree (going to the new house soon), & 2 baby items (going to a friend for her niece).
We have this cabinet that is connected to the kitchen cabinet. We call these 2 cabinets (1 on top of the other) as the bar cabinets. There is a bar next to it. We used to have bar stools there, but with our family growing, we did not have room for them. I cleaned & packed the top bar cabinet. I still have items in this cabinet. I still need to do the bottom cabinet, which will be awhile since I have boxes on our coffee table in front of it.
I still have to finish the bathroom, but that won't take long. I started in the kitchen a few days ago. My baking cabinet is no more. I threw out a lot & packed the rest. I cleaned out 1 cabinet completely. Another cabinet where the pots & pans are I only cleaned out the cabinet under it. I still have our pots & pans to do. I also packed away all the aprons, & kitchen towels plus the utensils we don't use. Ethan was helping me with this. I threw out a lot.
I started a list of what needs to be done on the chalkboard
1. Bottom of Bar Cabinet
2. Pots & Pan Cabinet
3. Storage Container Cabinet
4. Top of Computer Desk
5. Laundry (Top shelve is BAD!)
6. Kids' room (needs finished)
7. Food Cabinets
Forgot 1 thing to add
8. Closet (near front door)
I also started a list to get rid of
1. Noah's desk
2. Dresser
3. ??
This is the beginning of packing. Taken on November 5. Wow, we did get a lot done.
All black arrows are all packed away.
This was taken on November 27.
This was taken on November 29. I have reorganized the "wall of boxes" & Shawn loaded up the van for after work today to drop them off to the house.
I came to realize that packing/moving with kids is worse than any of our other moves especially if you are packing with a 2 1/2 year old, who wants to help you. A stubborn little boy at times. Ethan says "I help" which is nice, but not when he does not want to do what I need him to do.
Until Next Time,
Mel

Taken November 7. The day we decided to move up our move. Not sure if I mentioned this or not, but our new move date is NOW DECEMBER 26. Yes, we are moving in the middle of the school year. We decided it was for the best. I will explain later.
