I have thinking about the kids' teacher's Christmas gifts. Back when Ashleigh started Kindergarten, we gave a Christmas mug, but after a few years at this, we decided to do something different.
Normally we do a Christmas tree ornament of Ashleigh & Noah's liking. Normally Noah picks out a penguin ornament. Ashleigh picks a snowman or santa. It just depends. We always gives them a Christmas Card that each one picks out. Do you know which card Noah picks out? I don't have to tell you. (Penguin!)
Last year for Noah's teacher we did a Pencil Cup, but I used Fabric. We filled it with pencils, & pens.
I love love this Slate Pencil Holder. I think this can be made at home instead of being brought. All you need is wood, drill the holes, paint the chalkboard paint on. Add an apple or 2.
This is very cute to make-Felt Cut Out Cookies.
Snowman Ornament looks cute to make.
Noah & I made these Felt Penguin, but instead of felt we used foam paper. Then, added a magnet on the back with a small note to take care of my penguin. Noah gave them to his 2 uncles & 1 aunt for their birthdays. They loved them. I thought we could do this for his teacher, but I can not find the big eyes for the penguin so I need to go get more. We may add a hat or scarf.
This picture is a little bad. I took it in August on my cell. I went to take another pic, but guess what? Yep, I packed it away. Noah called this penguin his Chalkboard penguin since he lived on our chalkboard. I used metallic paint, too.
I need to get working on this for Ashleigh & Noah's teacher. Noah wants me to do a t-shirt for his teacher, but I have no pictures of his class. I can take one during the Christmas party then tell her about it. I can make it once we are unpacked & I can take it up to her. That is an idea, too. Noah loves to leave penguins with his teacher. This one is too cute not to make him.
