Zeus & His Separation Anxiety

I have noticed a change in Zeus since we got Bolt.  His separation anxiety is getting better.  We can crate both of them & Zeus does not escape anymore.  I left the dogs lose in the house without us here once since we got Bolt.  It was in the last 2 weeks.  I had to run up to a friend of Noah's to get his homework so I could copy it since Noah forgot his homework & the school was closed by the time we realize.  Not our normal routine that day!  Zeus did not destroy anything.  =)  

At first, Zeus was not so sure about Bolt.  If I was not home, but Shawn was, Zeus would not be on the same floor as Bolt.  Zeus would be on the second floor.  Once I would get home, Zeus would be okay.  I wonder if he felt like he was being replaced by a younger version.  I told Zeus many times that he was my dog & Bolt was Noah's dog.  I wanted him to feel sincere.  

Somewhere in all this time since Bolt came home, they became friends!  They play nicely together, but sometimes they can be rough together (only a few times).
