2 Things:
1. I decided it was time for a new header. I also have another project in the works, but I need some time to get it started! I am looking forward to this.
2. Bolt has healed great from his neuter!
They shaved him a lot more than a normal neuter. Reason below.
We got him neutered for several reasons.
1. We have always neutered our dogs or cats we had.
2. We were afraid if we did not neuter him since his did not drop they could become cancerous down the road & this would cause pain to our son (Bolt is his puppy).
3. I am a believer in spaying & neutering.
It was so hard for me not getting Bolt neutered at 6 months like Zeus. I never had to deal with the humping (Noah called hugging lol) & other behaviors. I called around to so many rescues & shelters seeing if they could help me with Bolt's problem. I finally found one that would help me. They charged me a spay instead of a neuter. It was so much cheaper than going to our vet. =) We could not afford our vet's cost. But anyway, I love where we took him. They were so nice & they did a great job. Bolt's neuter for those who just joined me was not a normal one because his testicles did not drop. Both of them. When we ever want a rescue dog, I know where to go!
If you need to have your dog or cat spay or neuter & can not afford it, call around to find a rescue or a shelter that does it. A shelter may be able to tell you of a place that does this or programs in your area. I have no idea this place had this program until I saw their website. Also look up their websites & look on there, too!
