What are your traditions for Christmas?

Here is our list:Taking the kids to see Santa!  This is from this year.

Each year we make cut out cookies.  We are going to be making our cut out cookies either tomorrow or Monday.  I will share this year's once we make them.

We send out Christmas cards.  Each of us except for Ethan signs the cards.  This year the older 2 signed Zeus & Bolt names.  The older 2 also draws, too, at times.

We also make some crafts, which are mainly for the Christmas tree.  The kids love to paint so I try to pick some up so they have something to do over their break.  This break I only have the wooden ones that they color with markers.  I was thinking of going to get some ceramic ornaments for the kids to paint from Michael's, but not sure when I will get there.  I know I am running out of time!  I want 2 get a dog ornament (ceramic) one for them to paint for each of the pups so I can write their names on them for the tree.  We don't have one for Bolt yet.  I don't think we have one for Zeus either.  I did not see one for him.  

Noah loves to have as many penguins as possible.  We now have a mantle & I have some of our lighted houses out.  We have our penguins up there.  I think there is 5 penguins on the mantle.  Each year for the kids' teacher we use this pattern & make penguins that are either used as magnets or ornaments.  This year Ashleigh's was pink while Noah's was black!  

I would love to hear about yours. We are staying home for Christmas.  Shawn is actually off from work.  It is the first time in I am not sure how many years.  His boss asked him to work, but he said no.
