Last week was crazy and I could not wait for it to be over.
On Tuesday, I had a meeting with Noah's teachers (I will get to this in a few minutes) then PT for Ashleigh. Wednesday was Noah's asthma doctor appointment then Noah and Ashleigh both saw their psychiatrist. Thursday was even crazier with an appointment for me, Ashleigh's Autism program, Noah's appointment, then we have a meeting at the boys' school. Friday was just one appointment, but the hardest appointment for last week. Ashleigh goes to this new clinic to get fitted for her first wheelchair. I am glad that is over. It was 2.5 hours long.
Ashleigh was happy to be able to move herself in a wheelchair. I brought one from Walgreen's and it has to be pushed by someone else. I needed one quickly 2 years ago and did not have the time to get into this clinic and to have the insurance to take up to 90 days to get it to us. We went to Virginia Beach and we knew we would be going to an aquarium or a zoo. Ashleigh was having problems walking long distances at that time. Now her walking is so much worse.
This week is so much calmer. One appointment!!
