Kindergarten is fun!

Today, Ethan had something at his school.  I am not going to post what his school calls this, but I will tell you what it is.  We go sit in on a class for an hour then we can go eat with our child, but we can not go to another child's room.  This happens more than once a year.  I am not sure how many times.  Next time I will go to Noah's classroom.  I plan to take turns this year since both of the boys go there.

Ethan's Kindergarten class was working on counting.  The parents and the child each took a turn at rolling the dice.  Then count the number of boxes to go into the cup.  The one who fills their cups wins!  Ethan won!!  His class also made a jack o' lantern!  Ethan gave his spiky hair like a porcupine!  His words.

Ethan and I had lunch together.  He had a homemade pepperoni roll.  All of their school lunches are homemade.  It is so nice that Noah & Ethan gets good meals there.  Noah never ate the school lunch when he went to the public school and I do not blame him.  Their school lunches were brought over from another school.  It looked like a tv dinner.  I am not kidding you.  I brought a salad with me since I have Celiac Disease, which is an autoimmune disease.  I can not have any wheat, barley, and rye.

I can remember when Noah went to Kindergarten.  Us parents helped the teacher to do small groups.  When she taught a lesson to a small group, she had 3 other groups do something different.  A parent was in charge of those groups.  I love going to Kindergarten!!  Hey, if you have to go back to school, Kindergarten is the place to be.  They draw, paint, glue.  To me, that is fun!!

What grade would you go to?
