The new school year has not been in session too long. I know I will make mistakes throughout the school year. I have so much on my plate this school year. Look at #7. The boys go to a private school that ends with 8th grade and Ashleigh is in the public junior high. Ash is in a program called Life Skills and should be 9th grade, but since it is her second year there, the school sees her as a 8th grader. We decided to keep Ashleigh in school until she is 21.
Here they are:
1. Forget to sign papers.
2. Forget to send in lunch money.
3. Forget to send in my sons' packets one month. (this is every month).
4. Forget to hand in the raffle tickets (also every month and for my boys' school).
5. I can not always move my daughter's appointments so I can meet with Noah's teachers. Ashleigh sees many doctors at our Children's and it can take months to get a new appointment.
6. I can not always make cupcakes for some event going on at my boys' school. I will do my best to do 3 major events a year.
7. If the one of my kids' teachers need a supply for class, I need a week to get that said supply. I have 2 nights a week where my daughter has her therapists in our home. I have 2 nights a week for Ashleigh in her Autism Program and soon she will be in a horseback riding one night a week and her other Autism Program that same night as the horseback riding. Ashleigh also has a camp Saturdays twice a month. Ashleigh has also started PT. Right now PT is once a week, but once she has her forearm clutches, etc, then it will be twice a week. This does not include the many appointments at Children's or the other appointments my kids or I have scheduled each month. We decided to take a break from soccer because I am not sure how to fit that into our schedule.
I will make sure all homework is done on time. I will make sure that my children make it to school on time.
Is there anything you forget to do during the school year?
Melissa
