Day 20: (Nov 20)
Today I am thankful for Ashleigh's physical therapists. Ashleigh has had several. I can not tell you exactly how many Ashleigh has had. I can remember the first 2 physical therapists like it was yesterday. The first one taught Ashleigh to walk. The second one helped her get stronger. We still see the second one. Ashleigh started going to our Children's PT when she was about 4.
Today Ashleigh had her casts taken off and a new set of casts put on. Ash is improving each week. It maybe 2 more weeks of casts and maybe the same cast those 2 weeks. They were thinking 3 more weeks, but if she continues to improve like she has been, then it will be 2 weeks. I still have her shoes in the van since I am afraid I will forget them when she is all done.
