New Game Plan for Ethan

Ethan saw his GI doctor Wednesday.  I almost gave up hope with his doctor.  I do like her, but Ethan has been on Miralax for over a year.  It is not working that great.  Yes, it helps him go, but it helps him go too well at times.  If he gets his dose a day for 4 days in a row, then he is having 1 accident after another accident.  Ethan goes to full day Kindergarten and I can not have accidents during school.  His GI doctor diagnosed Ethan with Gluten Intolerance.  His Celiac Disease blood work was normal, but he is still having issues when he eats gluten.  Bad stomach pains.  He refuses to eat his favorite foods like mac n cheese, spaghetti.

Our game plan:
1. I measure the miralax by teaspoons.  A full cap is about 4 tsp.  When Ethan has accidents, I cut the dose down by a tsp.
2. Ethan is not backed up, but there are still accidents (His GI doctor explained the accidents, but I am not here).  Therefore, something else is going on.  He is extremely picky what he eats.  Ethan will be following a Gluten Free Diet.
3. In the notebook I keep for Ethan, we are to note what his BM's look like.  His GI doctor wants it to be a mash potato texture.

About Ethan's notebook, since July 1st, I wrote down every time he had an accident, got his meds, etc.  Now we are adding more to his notebook.  I have to put how many tsp I give him, what his BM's look like, any accidents.  I am not sure what else we need to add, but I am sure within time, we will add more.
