Oh Joy!

I keep sitting here on different days to write up a post and nothing comes to my mind to write about.  Or when I do have something to write, I get the kids wanting something or the pups needing something.  Like now Bolt just was here barking at me.  I think he wanted to stay with me and Zeus, but they rough house too much behind me on the bed.  

This month is going too fast.  Ethan's birthday is 13 days away.  Then, it will be Valentine's Day before we know it.  I am trying to get as organized as I can for these 2 so I do not forget anything.  Ethan is the only one that still has classroom parties.  Today I brought Ethan's Valentines.  They are Star Wars this year.  I wanted to do something more homemade, but I have not found anything I like so far.  Well, that is not it.  I have not found anything that Ethan would like.

Thinking about doing this Valentine for Ethan's teacher since she loves lady bugs.  We got her a cute pink lady bug from the Dollar Tree today.  I also want to make a Valentine's Day garland for our mantle area.  I was thinking this one, but with love instead.  I am also looking for other ideas for our mantle.  It is time to use it!!  I did for Christmas with our houses, but other holidays I really don't do anything.  This year I plan to do every holiday even if it is just simple. 

Well, Ashleigh will be home from school soon and I need to go outside to help her down our outside steps.  I do not have to go get Ethan from his bus stop since I got a call to pick him up due to pink eye.  I am lucky I got the call before 10a so I could get him to the pediatrician's office.  Eye drops twice a day, 2 drops in each eye.  Oh Joy!!  Ethan hates eye drops or anyone near his eyes.  Ethan is home tomorrow, too, since his eye drops have to be done 24 hours before he can return, but all 3 kids have no school Monday and Tuesday.  Oh Joy for me!!
