This Week

Last week was been a little more busier than this week.  The kids had no school Monday or Tuesday because of MLK Day and Teacher Inservice Day.  The boys had a dentist appointment Monday morning.  Ethan is the only one with no cavities.  Noah goes back this Wednesday for his fillings.  I am not sure how many cavities Noah has.

The busiest days were Wednesday and Friday.  Wednesday, I spent the morning waiting at the hospital for a friend to be discharged.  I was there for over 2 hours waiting, but I sat at these tables near a coffee stand so I could make appointments for Ashleigh and me.  Friday was crazy.  Parent-teacher conference with Ethan's teacher.  Ethan is doing very well.  His handwriting needs improved, but that is it.  I am to have him read as much as possible since he loves to read.  After the conference, I dropped off a friend since her son goes to the same school as Ethan.  I picked up Noah before we dropped her off.  Ethan, Noah, and my friend's daughter were coming with me to drop Ethan off to a birthday party.

This week is a lot more calmer than last week.  We have Ethan's birthday on Wednesday and Noah goes to the dentist that morning, too.  Today I am taking it easy today since tomorrow I will be baking 40+ cupcakes.  I need 18 for Ethan's class for his birthday on Wednesday.  We are taking him out on Saturday for his birthday dinner since Shawn is working on his birthday.  I want to do something special, but I am not sure yet.  I have his favorite meal planned, but that is it.

I have the pups behind me playing.  I was able to take a photo of them being still for a short period, which is not the case now.  Each school day Bolt comes up after 2p to see me and Zeus.  They play behind me while I am trying to work on something on my laptop.  It is hard to type here when I hear them behind me.  Bolt is practicing his howls, which is not as good as Zeus' howls. Life is never boring with 2 huskies!!  I think Bolt comes up because he knows I love the last hour before the kids to come home from school as my quiet time....my last quiet time for the day!
