Command Center or Launch Pad?

Command Center or Launch Pad?  

On Pinterest, I have seen photos for a Command Center and a Launch Pad.  Do you have both or just one of these?

At our old home, we had a Command Center.  It was all on 1 wall, but here having 3 floors and a basement, I am not sure where to put it.  

My Calendar Command Center is in our room above my desk.  I have cork boards for me and the kids.  All important  papers go on our corkboards.  I have 3 kids in 3 different schools so I keep their papers on their own cork board.  Ethan's artwork goes on his board, but right now we have no artwork on it.  Shhh, don't tell him.  I also have 2 dry erase calendars so I can have our appointments close by.  I love seeing 2 months at a time.  It makes planning  a little easier.  I have 2 plain dry erase boards to keep notes on things for me to remember.

The entry way is the area I need improved.  This will be our Launch Pad that will have our coats and backpacks.  It is a work in progress.

Then, there is the Charging Station...It is on my desk, but it is not big enough so I am working on re-purposing a wooden thing I used for papers and magazines.  I will drill holes  for the plug ins once I paint it and know how I will use it.  That one will be on my desk.  The one on my desk will be moved to the kitchen counter.

My goal is to get these areas more organized, but I also have to come up with something for the incoming mail.  Any ideas?
