Future Projectswe want to do!!

I can not wait until we get these projects done.  All of these building projects are from Ana White's website.  Can you say I love her website?  If you want to building anything checkout Ana White's site, it is worth your time.  You will find at least 3 things you love.  You maybe there for hours, but you will find something you love.  I think when Ashleigh needs a bed, guess where we will go?  Yes, Ana White's website.  I am sure we can find one there & Shawn can build it.  It will be a lot better then the one we brought.  Plus it will last longer, too, & cheaper!

Behind the front door to hold all the coats & backpacks will be this: Tryde Media Console Hutch & Media Console.  This will be modified for our area behind our front door.  I can not wait!  I will put 3-4 hooks there.  I think maybe 1 hook on the left side, too.  The cubbies on top will hold baskets for each of the kids for their winter items.  The bottom will hold their shoes, but I will also be able to put the shoe tray under this.  Not sure if the bottom middle will have that shelf like that.  I think it will look like the top.  It is everything I need.  Excited!  Let's get building!  I can not wait until everything is organized!

UPDATE 3/10/13: I had someone make this.  I will post photos.  It is smaller & the bottom I did  not do like this.  I have it as I said above for our coats & I love it.

At the top of the stairs, the Simple, Cheap, and Easy Console Table will be built.  I have been looking for something to go at the top of the stairs.  I have been looking for something, but did not know what I wanted until I saw this.  Not sure what will be on the wall above.  Maybe a few of the artwork of the kids framed!

In the Kitchen, we want to build the Recycling Center to hold our trash can & recycling can.  There is this place in our mall that sells these wooden trash cans. Shawn & I wanted one.  We wanted one to keep the dogs out of the trash.  At the old place, Zeus was in the trash at least once a day.  We had to move the trash can backwards for him to stay out of it.  We tried different trash cans, but those did not work.  We thought maybe the wooden one would.  When I saw this on the site, I first saw the single one, but then I saw this one.  I thought it was perfect for our trash can & our recycle can.  Noah loves to recycle.  He is real big on recycling here!!

I want the Flat Wall Book Shelves behind Noah's door in his room.  He has so many books.  When I saw this, I knew it would work.  It does not take up much space & if you can get some pallets, you can use that wood instead of buying wood.  Noah would not want it white!  I also would like this built in Ethan's room down the road.  Now I just need to get some pallets! Does anyone know how I can get some pallets?

Another project in Noah's room is the Flat Wall Bookholders.  Noah wants them on the side of his bed.  So, when Noah is reading at night, he can put them right beside him.  I think this is a win win to me!  Eventually in Ethan's room, too!  Pallets again here!!  What can I say! I have readers!

This will be Noah's Desk: Modular Office- Narrow Open File Base,
but we will need to modify it a bit.  I want to make it into a corner desk, plus add shelves for storage for Noah's toys.  In the picture where you see the left bookcase & right bookcase, I want that to connect.  That will be on his wall across from his book.  The bookcase on the left will connect to the corner desk.  On the left of the corner desk will be another smaller bookcase.  I also want the tower to be placed behind a door so the puppy does not chew the cords!  I may add more later on.  You never know after I look at more Ana White designs!  I love her website.  Wait, I said that already. Photobucket

I have more planned projects to do!!  For the kids' rooms, I am doing their names.  We will paint their letters of their names.  Then, some of their letters will get photos like I did with our G.  I plan not to do all of their letters so later on we can add news photos!

Here is our G:

We are also doing a mural in Noah's room.  Noah's room needs to be painted.  He needs his green walls to be painted white.  We decided to do a small mural of (can you guess what this mural will be) Penguins!! Not sure yet what will exactly will be on his wall beside penguins.  I will draw what I will do in my sketch book before I do it on the wall first.  For Ashleigh, I have a program set up with her therapists.  She has to earn 4 of those dolphin things I picked up before I start her dolphin mural.  I will draw what I want to do on her wall before I draw it on her wall.  This is what I love to do!  We will be doing it together just like Noah & I will be.  Ethan wants one, too, but Penguins, too!  Not so sure about that, one, but we will see.

Another project I have planned is Family Rules Sign.  It will be on our mantle on the fireplace.  I just have to figure out how I will do it.  I want the word Family going down & phrases coming off it.  I am not sure I want our last name on the bottom because we have our established 1996 with our last name being put up above the tv along with the item below.  I don't think we need 2 items like that in the same room.  I have looked on Pinterest at different Family Rules, I love the only like this one that highlights the word "Family" & I want to do this, too.

We are also doing chalkboards on the back of Noah's & Ashleigh's doors.  It is because of Ashleigh's therapists wants a place for them to give jobs to Ashleigh.  Well, you can not do this for one without doing it for the other.  We are not using the same colors as the dining room chalkboards, but you will have to wait & see.  I am also doing a rectangle of chalkboard paint on the front of their door so I can write their names on their door.  I also would like to take one of the paint colors (whatever color I use on the bedroom doors on the second floor) for the bathroom.  I would love to do a larger square of chalkboard paint so I can write the bathroom rules, but I am not sure.  I may write on there something like this:
Sunday: Ashleigh- Bath
                Tuesday: Noah & Ethan- Bath
If I do that, then I can do my rules on a piece of wood & hang on it on the wall!

I am also doing an art project for the living room.  I am not sure how to do this with the colors yet, but it will go above our tv.  I want our Established Sign to go above this, too.  I think I will be going back to Michaels for paint.  I have the canvases for this.  I was thinking of maybe getting the older 2 to help me with the leaves.   This will be above our tv & below our establishment name/year piece.  I still am not sure about the colors.  Maybe some colors out of that establishment name/year piece!
