Missing Husky

What would you do for your pet?
What would you do for your lost dog?
What if you could not put up lost dog fliers in your town?

That is what happened to this one lady, Pat Panek.  I have been following her story about her lost Husky on her Facebook page called Help Bring Bridgett Home.  Here is a link for the news story.

Huskies are smart dogs.  They are breed to survive.  These are dogs that are known for sledding.  They can survive in cold weather.  They are known for escaping!  If you have a husky yourself, then you know about this all, but if you do not have a husky & want to get one, then you need to educate yourself about the breed before getting one.  Yes, they are cute as puppies & as adults, but they are very active dogs.  They shed a lot.  They need to be combed weekly.

I know that Bridgett is alive because she is a husky.  She is breed to survive in the coldest of weather.  She will find her way home.  Say a prayer than Bridgett will find her owner, Pat.  That they will be reunited again.  Bridgett is microchipped!

If you see Bridgett, do not go to her.  She is afraid of people.  She spent the first 6 years in a puppy mill.  Call Pat so she can get her.  This is in the Action, MA.  Look at the links for more information if you are in this area.  Thank you.

My husky, Zeus, knows how to open the screen door.  So does the puppy, Bolt.  Zeus has escaped once in our new home.  Bolt has escaped more times than I can remember.  If they were lost, I would do everything I could.  Both of our dogs have been microchipped, too.

If you are a dog owner or cat owner, I strongly suggest getting your dog or cat microchipped just in case this happens.  If someone finds your dog or cat, they can take your dog or cat to a vet to get scanned.

Thanks for reading.  If you know of anyone in the MA area, please pass this information to them about Bridgett.  Thank you!  On Pat's Facebook page, there are photos of Bridgett.
