Please remember what Memorial Day is all about. I wanted to thank more than just those we lost, but those who are
serving, to those who lost their lives, & who are now retired.
I wanted to share a little bit of history of Memorial Day.
Memorial Day, an American holiday observed on the last Monday of May, honors men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Many Americans observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials, holding family gatherings and participating in parades. Unofficially, at least, it marks the beginning of summer.

We should not forget the War Dogs that have served along side the soldiers. These brave dogs have saved many lived! We can not forget about them today!
