Homework Hell?
I am back in what I call Homework Hell. It where the child aka Ethan cries because he wants to do anything other than his homework. Not every night is like this, but lately since the weather has gotten warmer, it has been. It normally starts with "I am hungry" then followed by "Do I have to do it all now?"
We started his homework about 4:45p. I normally allow him to play the Xbox until Noah gets home from school since I am always told that Ethan does not get the Xbox to himself. Ethan has one page of math (both sides) and one side of spelling. It won't take long, but we have to have the whiny in there, too.
Ethan does not want to read the math problems. I tell him that I am not the First Grader. I need him to start working independently. I do not want him to be dependent on me to get his homework done.
Still not done. It has been an hour.
