Music and Dancing

Today I was watching The Today Show and Jenna Bush Hager was talking about having a dance party with your kids.  It made me think about the time before kids where I had music on to cook, to clean, etc.  Why have I stopped that?  Why did I let the music go?

I can remember when Ashleigh was little I played music a lot.  I think I had music on when the kids and I cleaned up the house about 2 months ago, but before that, I could not tell you.  I have to think of ways to motivate my children to clean up.  I have made up games.  Like the sock games (to have the kids pair up their sock mates), which Noah hates.  Well, I think I solved this issue.  I hate socks especially white ones and the boys socks look like one other now.  OMG, I hate white socks.  Now I only buy black socks for Noah.  The first reason I already told you.  The second reason is that Noah is awful with white socks.  Black is a great choice for him.  For Ethan, I buy either white or black socks with some kind of color on it.

I try to make laundry fun.  I break our clean laundry down into 2 items.  Hanging and basket.  The kids have to do these on different days. 

Time to bring the music back into our lives!!
