Ashleigh has been withdrawing from everyone. She stays in her room.
When I say I am taking away her Kindle, she cries badly. It is one of her bad episodes. It is not that she got into trouble. Not that she is trying to get out of her punishment, but it is because it is a connection to her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
When I tell Ashleigh that she has to clean her room, but I give her too much to do at one time, she has a crying episode that shuts herself down to me.
A few months ago, I had her see her psychologist because of the items above. I asked for her to do the paperwork for the wrap around program. She did and it worked. I had to send in a paper from the insurance company so I could prove Ashleigh was seen by her on that day. I started the process.
The health insurance company that does this did not approve everything that we wanted so I filed a grievance. I have a meeting in about 14 days. I do not understand how the one therapist that was approved can help me. It is in her job description that she works with Ashleigh only. The other therapist I want works with both of us.
