I hope all is having a safe and fun weekend celebrating the 4th of July. Remember not everyone can handle fireworks like those with PTSD, Autism, and more. If you take your dog to the fireworks, please have him or her firmly in a leash in your hand. Some dogs are afraid of fireworks and will run off. My advice is to leave them at home. Our Zeus has separation anxiety and hates fireworks. In the years since Zeus was diagnosed, he is not bad, but he is home. This year we will be home. We will be able to hear them, but I am not sure if we can see them. Ashleigh hates fireworks. They are too loud for her. I am hoping she will be sleeping by the time they start. We are not far from where they set them off.
