I have a theory about why my Start Menu does not work all the time. I think it is the Windows theme (wallpapers) I have been using. I noticed that some of the individual wallpapers had a working Start Menu, but not all within the package (not sure what to call it). I using have animals or landscape as my wallpaper. I wonder why. So, yesterday afternoon I changed the theme I was using to a Bing wallpaper. Guess what? My Start Menu has worked ever since I changed it.
Could it be that simple? I want to hear from others that are having the Start Menu not working and try this. Let me know.
