What are your Christmas Traditions?
I have been thinking about our Christmas Traditions. We put up on tree after Black Friday.
1. We always make the Felt Penguins, but we use foam paper instead. I am thinking of adding this gingerbread man. I use stock paper to print this out from the website. I cut it out then trace onto the foam paper. I love the penguins & the owls from Tricia-Rennea. She is an illustrator. A very good one!! I just found this owl pattern that has a santa hat with it. I found this Owl Pillow Pattern, too.
2. We make cut out cookies and ice them. This year I am not sure how we will do these-Gluten Free or Gluten? Both? Just Gluten Free?
3. We watch The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Plus we watch other Christmas movies.
4. Ethan wants to count down to Christmas. We will be doing this on our chalkboard in the dining room.
5. Christmas cards will go out!
6. Our Christmas Tree is decorated with items that the kids have made, painted, etc.
7. The Christmas Parade, which I want to take the kids to every year now.
8. We put cookies and milk out for Santa using our special Santa plate and Santa cup.
9. Make some ornaments for the tree. Love this idea where you take your kids' artwork and mod podge it onto a clay ornament.
This year I am thinking that I may let the kids unwrap 1 gift on Christmas Eve, but it depends if they have been good!!
