Be Kind

Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.

I really love this quote.  I think some people need to follow this quote.  Before I get into what I want to say, let's take a detour!  lol.  Let's tell you 7 things first for you to understand where I am coming from.

1.  I will protect my kids no matter what!
2. If you get into my face, I will get into yours!
3.  Don't you dare say that my child did something without proof because I will fight to the death.
4.  I love my kids more than anything.  I would die for them.
5.  We have been through hell & back with Ashleigh.
6.  I am extremely proud of my kids especially all that Ashleigh has accomplished.
7. Don't rub it in that your child is healthy when I have a special needs child.

Yesterday at the bus stop, I was running late so I sent Noah down before me & Ethan.  I had to get Ethan into his coat & shoes on him.  The mother of the little girl that poured gasoline onto Ashleigh was waiting for me down there.  She is NEVER at the bus stop.  She always has her older girl walk down there on her own.  Once I am done there, Noah is beside me.  This other mom starts on me.  Then Noah gets onto the bus.  The mother of that little girl starts yelling at me.  She is now saying Ashleigh poured it on her daughter, too.

Ok, let's look at the facts:

1.  Ashleigh ONLY had the gas on her LEGS!!
2.  If she poured the gas, then she would have it on her hands because she has a weakness in her hands.  She shakes when she tries to pour things & she spills drinks.  Therefore, Gas would had gotten onto her HANDS, which did not.

3.  Why come to me after almost (2 days shy of) 2 weeks & say this to me?  My theory is she is afraid of 1 thing: Me suing her.  I was not thinking it before Friday, but now with Ashleigh having seizures (started Saturday, November 12) I am thinking maybe yes.  If this woman pushes me more, HELL YES will be my answer.

This mother is not someone I want to be around.  Her kids is not someone I want my kids around.  5 more weeks & we move.  We have been here almost 12 years.  Why now?  Why do we have to have issues now?

I learned something valuable here on Friday.  Trust no one.  This area I am living in is like a soap opera.  Everyone is back stabbing everyone else.  (well, except for 1 family).

Noah was invited to a birthday party & this older girl is going, too.  Ashleigh asked her friend from school to watch Noah since he is related to the birthday boy.  How sweet is Ashleigh!!  She is looking out for her little brother.  I am so proud of her.

I learned something else, too.  Be kind.  I have always known this, but I was reminded of the quote on the top.  Be Kind, Be Kind, Be Kind.

Have a Great Saturday!!
Mel
