I found this in my imported blog posts from my old blog, which I had seen this around the blog community a lot lately.
I am grateful for my kids.
When I hurt my back, I never thought we would have a third child, but God gave us the best gift when I was recovering from back surgery--Ethan. He is a joy to have in our lives. Ethan is at that fun age. He loves to pretend he is every super hero. I don't remember this with Noah. Noah is my little reader. He loves to read to me & Ethan.
I am grateful for Ashleigh accomplishing all she has done in her life.
When Ash was 2, she could not walk. Her physical therapist had to teach her how to walk. (I am working on adding a page with links to her website & Noah's website)
I am grateful for my husband.
My husband, Shawn, has been by my side through so much. I hate to show him that I am in pain, but he knows when I am. It is hard to hide from him.
I am grateful for my friends & family.
I am grateful for laughter & tears.
I am grateful for bath nights.
There are kids in this world that can not have baths without pain. These kids have Epidermolysis Bullosa or EB for short. There are 2 different kinds of EB. Tripp has Junctional EB. His mom, Courtney, has a blog for Tripp. Check it out here.
I am grateful for movie nights.
Family Time.
I am grateful for craft time!
I can not wait until we move. I will have a craft area in the basement. Our dining room table with be in that area. I plan to put chalkboard paint on the top of it.
I am grateful for our dogs, Zeus (Husky) & Belle (Rat terrier).
I believe that dogs know when you are sad, in pain, etc. Zeus will be at my feet when I am in pain. He follows me everywhere. He is wonderful.
I am grateful for the internet.
We connect with family & friends. We share photos with them.
I am grateful for Mother Nature.
We live in a beautiful area. Our lake is my favorite spot to visit.
I am grateful for the healthy times.
With 2 boys with asthma, I am so grateful when their asthma is under control. Ashleigh does not get sick that often.
I am grateful for my lattes.
What are you grateful for? If you do a blog post about What you are grateful for, please comment with a link. I would love to read what you are grateful for, too.
