Happy Veteran's Day!

HAPPY Veteran's Day!!!

Happy Veteran's Day to all of our Military- Present, Past, & Future!! A special thanks to my dad, who is a (Army) Vietnam Vet, My sister in law, Barb, is with the Air Force Reserves, & My brother in law, Dan (Air Force), who returned from Afghanistan a month or so ago so this Veteran's Day is very special for his family.  I also want to thank my high school classmate, Michele, who is with the Army.  We need to remember these brace soldiers not only today, but every day.  They give up a lot to be away from their families.  Not only do they give up a alot, but also their spouses do.  Their spouses need to do everything on their own while they are away.  God Bless You All!!

A little history lesson: Did you know that Veteran's Day was known as Armistice Day when President Woodrow Wilson first proclaimed it on November 11, 1919. Armistice was not a legal holiday until May 13, 1938.  President Dwight Eisenhower signed into law that Armistice Day will be known as Veteran's Day. (Source
